The cleaning agent which is applied may
possibly lead to a risk of slipping!
For this reason, shows with non-slip soles
must be used when working!
Corresponding warning signs must be
erected!
2 _4.4 Shutting the machine off
Picture 7: Let on / off levers (2) off. Hold on to the
handle top (4) until the machine has come to a
complete standstill. On releasing the guide shaft (8),
the operating buttons (2) are automatically secured.
Set the guide shaft (8) by using the handle height
adjustment lever to vertical position.
After operating the machine pull out the
mains plug (6)!
Wind mains cable (6) over handle top (4) and mains
cable coiling hook (9).
If the machine is switched off for a long period of time,
the pressure on the pad must be relieved. This may be
carried out by removing the pad or by turning the
pressure adjustment screw (19) to the right or by tilting
the machine.

Do not switch the machine off for longer
periods of time with the pressure on the
accessories set to maximum (see Table

2 _5.1 Precautionary measures prior to cleaning
and maintaining the machine
Prior to maintenance and cleaning opera-
tions, the machine must be disconnected
from the mains by disconnecting the
mains plug. Accidents due to electrical
voltage and moving parts may be avoided
in this manner.
When maintaining or servicing the ma-
chine, when exchanging parts or resetting
to a different function it must be ensured
that the machine cannot start accidentally.
It must also be protected from rolling off
or tilting and no parts may be in a position
that may cause them to fall down or close
by themselves.
