CHANGING SCRUB HEADS
Two types of scrub heads are available for the 5400
model, disc brush and cylindrical brush. They are
easily interchangeable.
The disc brush scrub head is designed to scrub
smooth surfaces without debris, and the cylindrical
brush scrub head is designed to scrub tile and uneven
floors with small, light debris.
1. Lower scrub head to floor, do not apply any down
pressure.
2. Turn machine off, remove key and set parking
brake, if equipped.
FOR SAFETY: Before leaving or servicing
machine, stop on level surface, turn off machine,
and set parking brake, if equipped.
3. Remove shroud located above scrub head. The
hex spacer is required for cylindrical brush scrub
head only (Figure 48).
