STARTING THE MACHINE
1. You must be in the operator’s seat with the
directional pedal in neutral, and your foot on
the brake pedal or with the parking brake
set.
FOR SAFETY: When starting machine,
keep foot on brake and directional pedal
in neutral.
2. Move the throttle lever to the
Idle
position.
3. Turn the ignition switch key all the way
counter-clockwise and hold it there for 5 to
15 seconds depending on the weather
conditions.
4. Turn the ignition switch key clockwise until
the engine starts.
NOTE: Do not operate the starter motor for more
than 10 seconds at a time or after the engine has
started. Allow the starter to cool between starting
attempt or damage to the starter motor may
occur.
