8.3 Setting the delay
The delay (surround delay) compensates the time difference between the incoming
audio signals that can occur when the speakers are positioned at different
distances from each other.
8.4 Setting the delay on the decoder and on the remote control
Press the “Mode” button several times until Delay, SL (Surround Left) and SR
(Surround Right) blinks. Use the upwards/downwards buttons to set the required
value.
You can perform the same setting for the centre speaker. Press the “Mode”
button again until Delay and C (for “Centre” speaker) blinks.
9 Troubleshooting
No sound:
Check the cable connections.
Select the right audio source (analogue/digital)
Quiet sound output:
Check the volume setting.
Correct the balance settings.
Unable to use speakers to full power:
Check the sound of the speakers for noise.
Treble or bass too strong:
Check the Balance settings.
Safety advice
• Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight or extreme heat as this can damage
the components.
• Never open the case yourself. Servicing and repair should only be carried out
by qualified persons.
• Make sure no liquids come into contact with the components as this can result
in damage.
• Make sure no pressure is applied to the loudspeaker mesh as this can damage
it.
• Only use a dry cloth to clean the casing.
