Whenever power is applied or a connection is made to the LAN or WAN, the phone
initiates a startup routine, with progress shown in the display. When the phone and
network are fully initialized, the idle display, indicating date and time, will be shown. In
cases where full initialization is not attained, the following displays or conditions will be
shown continuously until corrected.

accessible. If the LAN or WAN does not include a
DHCP server, disable IP configuration via DHCP and
enter the appropriate IP values (phone, default
gateway, subnet mask, update) using the INSTL
→
IP
Menu.

The phone IP address is a null value. Enter the
appropriate phone IP address or name, or change the
IP Configuration Update IPv4 address from STATIC to
IPv4 to allow the DHCP server to assign an address to
the telephone.

the appropriate gateway IP address or server name.
