Power Light Will
Not Turn On -
DC Models
Be sure the keyswitch is
in the appropriate
position.
Be sure the Emergency
Stop buttons are pulled
up to the
ON
position.
Be sure the battery
cables are connected.
Be sure the ground
control box PC board
fuse is not blown.
Check the battery pack
voltage.
0V DC
Charge the battery OR
check the battery
condition and replace a
bad battery.
Check the voltage at
terminal 3 on the key
switch N.O. contact. Put
Neg. lead of voltage
meter on grounding
terminal 10 of the 13 pole
terminal strip (J1).
0V DC
Trace the black input wire
back to the motor start
solenoid and repair open
in the wire.
Check the voltage at
terminal 4 on the key
switch N.O. contact.
0V DC
Replace the key switch
N.O. contact.
12V DC
Check the voltage at
terminal 1 on the
Emergency Stop button
N.C. contact.
Trace the black wire from
terminal 1 on the
Emergency Stop N.C.
contact back to the key
switch N.O. contact and
repair open in wire.
12V DC
Check the voltage at
terminal 2 on the
Emergency Stop button
N.C. contact.
0V DC
Replace the Emergency
Stop button N.C.
contact.
12V DC
Check the voltage at
terminal 3 (black wire) of
3 pole terminal strip (J2).
Trace the black wire from
terminal 3 of the 3 pole
terminal strip (J2) back to
the Emergency Stop
button N.C. contact and
repair open in the wire.
