Gauge Clusters
Removal
1.
Remove the mounting screws securing the gauge
mounting plate to the lap bar gauge pod, then
raise the plate to expose the wire harness connec-
tors. (fig. 6-9, 6-10)
2.
Disconnect the gauges from the harness and
remove the gauge cluster. (fig. 6-11)
Note:
At this point in the disassembly procedure, the
gauges may be replaced if necessary.
3.
If gauges must be removed, remove the nuts
securing the backing plate to the gauge. (fig. 6-12)
4.
The gauge may now be removed for repair or
replacement. (fig. 6-13, 6-14)
Installation
1.
To reinstall the gauges and cluster, reverse the
removal procedure.
