ON FIRST USE
Before using the appliance, wash all the parts which come into contact with food - bowl
(4), lid (1) and blade unit (3) - with tepid water and dishwashing detergent, then rinse and
dry thoroughly.
WARNING!
Do not wash the parts which come into contact with food in dishwasher.
PUTTING INTO OPERATION
• Completely unwind the feeding cable (7), rest the appliance on a horizontal, stable surface
away from heat sources. Be careful not to allow the feeding cable to come into contact
with hot surfaces and to hang from the resting surface.
• Make sure the plug is disconnected from the power outlet.
• Fit the bowl (4) in the seat (11) of the appliance body as shown in figure 1 and 2:
- match the bowl teeth (10) with the hallows (12) of the appliance body.
- turn the bowl clockwise until it is fixed.
• Insert the blade unit (3) in the bowl (4).
• Put the food to be chopped in the bowl (refer to the food guide table for the maximum
quantities).
• Fit the lid (1) and make sure that the blade support (8) enters the hole (9); pay special
attention to the tongue (2), which must be positioned as shown in figure 3.
• Afterwards turn the lid clockwise until it is fixed.
• Connect the plug to the power outlet.
• Make the appliance run by keeping the push button (5) pressed: when the push button is
released, the appliance stops automatically.
IMPORTANT
If the lid is not positioned correctly, the appliance does not work.
WARNING!
• Never insert in the bowl (4) food quantities which are higher than the ones shown in the
table “Food guide” and, anyway, which exceed the maximum volume of 0.2 l.
• Never pour liquid substances into the bowl.
• Do not use the appliance for more than 1 minute uninterruptedly: make a 1-minute
break between one operation and the following one.
• Never run the appliance when it is empty.
• Do not try to run the appliance if the lid (1) has not been mounted.
• Ingredients of big dimensions (fruit, vegetable…) must be cut in cubes of about 2x2 cm
before putting them in the bowl.
• Do not chop too hard food (e.g. ice, shells, frozen food…) since the appliance may
