NOTE!
There may be some smoke when you use the appliance for the first
time, this is normal and is due to residue from production protective
substances on the heating elements: this will disappear when you
use it again.
2 – CONTACT GRILL USE
•
Insert the plug into the socket and turn the thermostat knob

to the desired
temperature setting from 1 to 5: turning the knob clockwise increases the
temperature, while turning it anticlockwise the temperature decreases. The
indicator light

will come on.
N.B.: When the thermostat knob

is set to the position the appliance is
off.
•
Place a small heat resistant container under the drain spout
(10)
to collect
excess cooking grease or oil.
•
The contact grill will be ready for use once the indicator light
(7)
goes out.
•
During operation, the indicator light will turn on and off, indicating that the
temperature of the cooking plates

are being kept under control.
•
Open the top plate using the handle

•
Place the food to be cooked on the cooking plate
(3)
and lower the upper
cooking plate, using the handle
(2)
, placing it on the food evenly.
•
The cooking times required will vary according to the food you want to
prepare, its thickness and personal tastes.
•
When food is ready, remove it carefully using a wooden or plastic spatula. Do
not use metal utensils as they may scratch and damage the non-stick coating
of the cooking plates

After use, switch off the grill by turning the thermostat knob

to the position
and remove the plug from the socket. Allow the grill pan to cool completely
before cleaning it.
3 – APPLIANCE COOKING POSITIONS
Depending on your needs and the type of food, you can use the appliance in 3
different ways:
