EQUINOXE  - WEATHER STATION

INITIALISATION

Receiver:

Insert the battery(s) in the battery compartment, making

sure that the polarities are correct, or, use the mains adaptor to

power the receiver.

Remote sensor:

Use a screwdriver to remove the screws on the

battery compartment and insert the batteries.

When the batteries have been correctly inserted, the LCD screen

will light up and the receiver will beep. The indoor temperature,

indoor humidity and atmospheric pressure will be displayed almost

immediately.

The receiver icon will begin to flash as it searches for the outdoor

sensor, this process takes up to 3 minutes. When a connection has

been made the outdoor temperature will be displayed.

Important:

The weather forecast is only ready for operation 12 hours

after the batteries have been inserted.

RECEIVER 

TIME SETTING 

1:

Press and hold the 

MODE

button for 3 seconds to enter Set

Mode. The clock display option will flash. Use the 

▲

and 

▼

buttons to choose between 12hr or 24hr. Press 

MODE

to validate.

2:

Next the timezone will flash. Use the 

▲

and 

▼

buttons to highlight

the correct timezone. Press 

MODE

to validate.

3:

Next the hour will flash. Use the 

▲

and 

▼

buttons to highlight the

correct hour. Press 

MODE

to validate.

4:

Next the minutes will flash. Use the 

▲

and 

▼

buttons to highlight

the correct minutes. Press 

MODE

to validate. The screen will now

return to normal mode and display all your validated settings.

Important:

If no button is pressed after 7 seconds the screen

switches from Set mode to Normal clock mode.

PRESSURE TREND INDICATOR

The atmospheric pressure has a trend indicator. There are 3

indicators: 

The atmospheric pressure has remained constant for the past

30 minutes

The atmospheric pressure has increased over the past 30 minutes

The atmospheric pressure has decreased over the past 30 minutes

INDOOR HUMIDITY

The indoor humidity display ranges from 20%-95%.

WEATHER FORECAST ICONS

The weather station uses the atmospheric pressure data of the last

4 hours to forecast the weather for the upcoming 12-24 hours.

There are 6 weather icons that can be displayed. The colour of the

light pipe corresponds to each weather icon.

Important:

Please allow 12 hours after the insertion of the batteries

for the correct weather icon to be displayed. The forecast can be

given for a radius of up to 12-20km (7-13 miles).

ALARM SETTING

Press the 

MODE

button briefly. The display switches from clock

mode to alarm mode. 

To set the alarm

In alarm mode press and hold the 

MODE

button for 2 seconds until

the hour begins to flash.

Use the 

▲

and 

▼

buttons to choose between the required hour. 

Press the 

MODE

button to validate.

Next the minutes will flash.

Use the 

▲

and 

▼

buttons to choose between the required minutes. 

Press the 

MODE

button to validate the alarm.

After completion you will be returned to the normal clock mode.

To activate/deactivate the alarms

To activate the alarm – briefly press the 

ALERT

button.

To deactivate the alarm – briefly press the 

ALERT

button once

more.

Important: 

If no button is pressed after 20 seconds the screen switches from

Set Mode to clock Mode. The alarm (crescendo) will sound for 

2 minutes if no button is pressed to deactivate it. In this case the

alarm will be automatically repeated after 24 hours.

When the alarm is sounding press any button to stop the alarm.

Snooze Function

When the alarm is sounding press the 

SNOOZE/LIGHT

button

once to enter snooze mode. The alarm will sound again after

5 minutes. When the snooze function is activated, the 

Zz

symbol

is displayed. 

The snooze function can be repeated up to 7 times. 

Press the 

ALERT

button to deactivate the snooze function.

Press any button to stop the alarm.

°C/°F

1:

By default the temperature is displayed in °C. Change to °F by

pressing the 

▼

button once. Press the 

▼

again to return to °C.

2:

The indoor temperature ranges from: 0°C (32°F) to 50°C (122°F)
