Parameters of the TERRATEC.EXE file
Under DOS, you can call the Terratec.exe file with the following parameters:

-I

-0...-I
performs an additional plug and play override, which configures
the Maestro with the values of the CS4232.INI
-S
goes straight into the configuration menu (see chapter IV)
-E
the blaster=AXXX IXX DX TX environment variable will not be set
-C...
set the path to the maestro system file CS4232.INI
(e.g. TERRATEC.EXE -I -CC:\M32\)
-V
verbose, shows the actual settings for the Maestro32/96.
Gameport MIDI Routing
The Gameport MIDI Routing can be set directly in the TerraTec-Mixer under DOS or Windows
(3.1X and 95). This routing is important if you work with external MIDI equipment, or if you
have a joystick connected.
Selection in the Windows-mixer screen
If you work with external MIDI equipment, you should switch the routing to MIDI 2, if not,
outgoing MIDI Data will be send simultaneously to the internal Wavetable and to the external
MIDI equipment. Before that you have to reconsider if the 2nd MPU interface is activated. Read
about that in chapter “Recording using the IN-2 / MIC Input jack“.
If you use the Maestro essential for Games and not for controlling of external MIDI equipment,
you should switch the MIDI routing to OFF. Many joysticks, particular these with advanced
functions (e.g. Coolie hat), need access to various pins, which are normally reserved for MIDI
transfer. Because of that the lines will be short circuited and the Wavetable output will be
muted.
