Power Down Sequence
1.
Ensure aircraft is on ground, props have stopped rotating, and system has disarmed.
2.
Note battery voltage and flight time on GCS Client Display and record in logbook.
3.
Stop recording video if needed.
4.
Remove battery from aircraft and check for abnormal temperature.
5.
Check aircraft motors for excessive heat.
6.
Turn off GCS.
Safety Inspection
1.
Inspect landing gear and landing gear brackets for cracks or structural defects.
2.
Inspect aircraft for debris or loose fasteners.
3.
Inspect propellers and propeller mounts for proper tightness.
4.
Remove debris from all surfaces.
Payload Management
1.
Inspect payload sensor lens and clean if necessary.
2.
Install payload sensor lens covers, if applicable.
3.
Remove GPS antenna connection from payload, if applicable.
4.
Remove gimbal and payload from aircraft.
5.
Collect data from payload storage devices, if applicable,
Stowing the Aircraft
1.
Disassemble aircraft and return to the transport case.
2.
Ensure notebook is updated with:
– flight duration
– battery usage
– any anomalies encountered during flight
