Conventions/Terminology
CSC
: Control Stick Combination. There are multiple control stick combinations used to initiate certain air-
craft behaviors including calibrate, arm, disarm.
GCS
: Ground Control Station. The transmitter and the tablet as a combined system.
GCU
Ground Control Unit. The transmitter.
HUD
: Heads Up Display.
Payload
: Any gimbal and/or sensor attachment connected to the RangePro RPX8-P.
RTH/RTL
: Return to Home/Return to Launch.
Transmitter
: The controller that the pilot holds while flying the RangePro RPX8-P.
UAS
: Unmanned Aircraft System. Includes the UAV and all ground units for control and communication.
UAV
: Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (AKA a drone).
