Alarms and error messages
Various alarms can be triggered by T-RAC II. Alarms that happen during donation are always
audible. Whether the other alarms are
audible, can be configured by the program setting ‘All
alarms aud’
.
At some alarms, following button is shown:
. This button will only silence an alarm
temporary without disabling it. After 45 seconds, the alarm will sound again if the problem
is not resolved.
The duration of alarms which take place between venipuncture and needle removal, are
visualized on the screen
and recorded into the donation statistics.
Medium priority alarms are accompanied by an acoustic signal (c-c-c), a low priority alarm is
accompanied by an acoustic signal (e-c) (according to IEC 60601-1-8).

by the user in the program settings. All these alarms are medium priority alarms, except
for the low flow rate pre-alarm.
Low flow rate pre-alarm
Indicated by:
Touch screen: flow rate indication turns red.
Clamp: stays locked.
Antenna: color doesn’t change, but starts flashing.
Audible alarm: only if the program
setting ‘All alarms aud.’ is set
to ‘Yes’.
Cause:
The flow rate is lower than the flow rate limit configured in the
currently running program.
