When sucking up the control solution with the Test TIP, ensure that no air bubbles are aspi-
rated. If an air bubble has been suctioned, use a new Test TIP and carry out measurement
again.
Do not suck up the control solution with the Test TIP directly from the bottle nozzle.
After each use, wipe the bottle nozzle with clean tissue paper and attach the screw cap
securely before storage. Do not leave the bottle uncapped.
Tolerance is indicated on the label of the control solution.
If the measurement result is beyond the tolerance range, put another drop on the film seal of new Test TIP
and measure again with new Test TIP. If the measurement result is still beyond the tolerance range, the
following are possible causes:
The shelf life of the control solution has expired.
Use a new bottle of control solution with a valid shelf life
and carry out measurement again.
The measurement was not taken at correct temperature.
Carry out measurement again within the
specified temperature range, specified in the Instructions For Use of the Control Solution.
The operational procedures were not followed.
Please refer to the Instructions For Use again, and follow
the operational procedures.
The blood glucose meter is malfunctioning or damaged.
If you cannot identify the cause or solve the problem, do not use the meter and contact Terumo immediately.
(contact information is mentioned at the end of this guide book).
