Waste and Recycle of Meter and batteries
Batteries and electrical/electronic equipment contain substances which can be
dangerous to the environment and harmful to human health if they are not disposed of
correctly.
About the Meter
About the battery
The Meter may come into contact with
blood during use. Please dispose of the
Meter according to your local regula-
tions.
Contact your local distributor or
municipality for information about correct
disposal.
Before disposal of the Meter, batteries
should be removed (see page 9).
Batteries must not be disposed of
within general household waste, but
instead, should be collected separately.
In this way, the environmental impact
associated with disposal is reduced, with
the opportunity for recycling.
Contact your local distributor or muni-
cipality to know the available collection
schemes.
Do not throw batteries into fire.
It can cause explosion.
