Release the ON/OFF button and allow the machine to

Assemble the machine and place the Collecting Tray at

the front of the machine.
Refer to View A on Page 3.

Adjust the slice thickness as required

Plug the appliance into the mains. Switch the mains on.
$
Move the Sliding table back so that the front edge of the
food is clear of the slicing blade.
$
Place the food so that it is supported by the guard and
the slice feed plate.
$
Press the Safety switch in and then press the ON/OFF
switch to start the slicer. You may now release the safety
switch if you wish.

Adjusting Slice Thickness

safety, always rotate the control
anticlockwise to move the Slice Feed plate in front of the Knife
blade so that it is covered when the unit is not in use.
If the motor slows or the blade gets hot, switch off, and
allow the unit to cool fully before recommencing slicing.
Do not run the machine continuously for more than 6
min. Allow the unit to cool before recommencing slicing.
CARE AND CLEANING
After Use:

Release the ON/OFF switch.
$
Unplug the appliance and allow the machine to stop
rotating.
$
Remove the sliced meat from the tray.
$
Move the sliding plate back so any unsliced meat is well
clear of the slicing knife. Lift off any unsliced meat from
the machine.

To re-grease the screw, apply a small dab of petroleum jelly
(Vaseline) to the screw and then replace the slicing table.

Wash all the removed plastic components in warm
soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly.
$
Wash the slicing knife in warm soapy water taking care
not to touch the cutting surfaces, rinse and dry thoroughly.
$
Wipe the motor unit, the base plate the rear plate and
all other surfaces, including the area behind the knife
blade all over with a soft cloth dampened with soapy
water followed with a clean damp cloth. Dry well. Do not
immerse the motor unit, mains cable or plug in water.
NOTE:
This machine is used primarily to slice cooked or cured
meats which are not subjected to further cooking. It is essential
to keep this appliance spotlessly clean as there is a risk of
infection from cross-contamination due to infected food
residues if the unit is not thoroughly clean. When cleaning this
appliance, we strongly advise the use of anti-bacterial
Class II construction double insulated. This product
cleaning agents (wipes, liquids or sprays) approved for use
must not be connected to earth.

After Cleaning:

Replace the Slicing Table. Reverse the instructions for
disassembly (Fig. 10 above)

Replace the Slicing Knife. Make sure the slicing table is
extended so it is in front of the knife blade.

Finally fold the appliance shut and replace the tray.
$
Loosely coil the cable and store the unit with all
attachments in a dry cool cupboard out of the reach of
children and pets.
WARRANTY
Your appliance is covered by a warranty for 12 months from
the date of purchase. If a fault develops during this period,
please return the unit to your nearest Tesco store together
with the original receipt as proof of purchase. This warranty
in no way affects your consumer rights.
