Maintenance and cleaning
Clean the housing with a dry cloth (no cleaning agents) at regular intervals. Do not use any
abrasive or scouring agents, or solvents.
To avoid electric shocks, do not allow moisture to penetrate the housing.
Replacing the battery
Before removing the rear panel, switch off the clamp meter and remove the test
leads so as to avoid electric shocks.
Procedure:

If the operating voltage of the battery is insufficient, the
symbol will appear on the
LCD display; the battery must then be replaced.
|
Set the band switch to OFF.
|
Unscrew the safety screw at the rear with a screwdriver. Remove the used batteries and
replace with two new type 1.5 V AAA batteries.
|
Replace the cover and secure with the screw.
Do not dispose of the batteries in the domestic waste.
