5 Parameterizing, adjusting and analyzing software (P2A software)

Field
Explanation
Cycle time
Set the cycles at which the self-adjustment is
to be executed:
• 1
hour
• 6
hours
• 12
hours
•
24 hours (default setting)
• 48
hours
• deactivated
In order to obtain reliable
measurement values during the
calibration or adjustment time for the
transmitter, Testo recommends the
shortest possible cycle time.
In continuous operation a longer
cycle time may be set.
Output signal during
the self-adjustment
Selection of whether the latest frozen
measurement value, or a defined status
signal is to be emitted as an output signal
during the self-adjustment.
Settings during the
Init. phase
Possibility to match the pre-set Init. phase in
dependence on the process temperature.
Optimal accuracy is achieved, if at
least two self-adjustment cycles are
executed at dew point temperatures
of -60 °C
td
, at dew point temperatures
below -60 °C
td
four self-adjustment
cycles are recommended.
[Start self-
adjustment]
Start the self-adjustment manually at a
defined time outside the cycle time.

Creating a new instrument file
It is possible to create an instrument file without restarting the P2A
software.
