Figure 3 – Drawing of installation holes
•
Mark on the bottom of the cabinet and drill four
holes with diameter ø3, taking into account the
distances between the installation holes specified
in Figure 3.
•
Mark and cut the opening for the outlet metal pipe
ø120 by making the opening with slightly bigger
diameter (at least 130 mm).
•
Install the range hood to the bottom of the cabinet
by means of 4 screws М4х30.
•
Install the non-return flap at the outlet opening of
the range hood.
•
Connect the flexible aluminium pipe to the outlet
of the range hood and to the chimney, taking into
account that the bends and curves reduce the
absorption power, so they should be reduced to the
minimum.
•
Ensure that the connection will not get loose when
the appliance operates at maximum power.
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Do not bend or crush the power cord during
installation! Otherwise the cord may get damaged.
RISK OF INJURY!
There is risk of injury during installation because of
the sharp edges. During installation always use protective
gloves.
All safety bolts and safety covers shall be installed in the way
specified in the instructions, otherwise the appliance may fall.
OPERATION OF THE RANGE HOOD
The accessible parts may get hot while the
appliance is operating in combination with
operating hot plates under it.
Range hoods SL 102 2M 60 WX, SL 103 2M 60 WH and
SL 104 2M 60 SX share similar operation logics. They
are operated by three switches which you can see after
pulling the front panel. The switch located to the left
hand side is for switching on/off the lightening, and the
other two switches located to the right hand side are for
control of the ventilation speed.
Figure 4 – Control switches of SL 102 2M 60 WX, SL 103
2M 60 WH and SL 104 2M 60 SX
Description of the control switches shown in figure 4:
The lightening switch has two positions – off and on (
).
The ventilation switch for 1st and 2nd speed has three
positions
I
– 1
st
ventilation speed
0
– switched off
II
– 2
nd
ventilation speed
The ventilation switch for 3rd speed has two positions:
0
– switched off
III
– 3
nd
ventilation speed
In order for the range hood to operate at a particular
ventilation speed you need to press the relevant button
in the required position. In order for the range hood to
operate at 3
rd
speed it has to be selected by pressing its
switch, regardless of the position of the switch for 1
st
and 2
nd
speed.
When you stop using the range hood, push the front
panel fully backwards. This will activate a switch which
will switch off the lightening and the fan.
When you need to switch on the range hood, pull
forward the front panel and the appliance will start
operating with the settings which you have made
during its last operation.
