Insert the plug into a socket as far as it will go (230 V ~ 50 Hz).
Make sure that the power cable is hanging down ahead of the socket in
order to prevent water from running into the socket. The lowest point of
the power cable must be below the socket (Fig. A).
Check the water temperature regularly with a thermometer designed for
this purpose.
Cleaning
The ReptoHeater requires no maintenance apart from an occasional clean.
Limescale and other deposits on the ReptoHeater can affect the heat output.
Proceed as follows to clean the ReptoHeater:
Unplug the ReptoHeater.
Allow the ReptoHeater to cool down for at least 30 minutes.
Take the ReptoHeater out of the aquaterrarium.
Clean the ReptoHeater with a cloth impregnated with vinegar.
Rinse the ReptoHeater with clean water.
Refit the ReptoHeater in the aquaterrarium.
Wait until the ReptoHeater has been submerged in the water for at least
10 minutes before plugging it in.

Storage
Unplug the ReptoHeater.
Store the ReptoHeater in a dry place.
