TEST TONE: This setting will provide some "white noise
" (sounds like ocean waves or blowing wind) from each
speaker LEFT, CENTRE, RIGHT, RIGHT SURROUND (RIGHT REAR) and LEFT SURROUND (LEFT REAR) in
sequence to enable your test the connection of each speaker. After testing, press the DOWN button
(
) to select OFF, press the SETUP button to exit the TEST TONE setup menu.

Note you will not find the SUBWOOFER settings in this menu, since the factory default for SUBWOOFER has been
permanently set to ON, you do not need to set it again.

If you play a DVD with a stereo (2 channel) soundtrack, or an audio CD, the Pro Logic "STEREO
" mode is selected.
Sound will only be heard from the left and right front speakers and the subwoofer. However, you may then press the
"SURROUND" button on the REMOTE CONTROL to select another audio mode and activate the centre and rear
satellite speakers.

If you want to change the surround timing delay, you may select other delay timings in millisecond (mS). We
suggest you leave these settings as is.
This allows you to select and adjust the delay time of the speakers and test tones to see if all the speakers are connected
properly. We recomend you do not change the delay time. Just use the test tone function if you are not sure if you connected all
your speakers properly.

Press the SETUP button on the REMOTE control, a menu like the one above will appear on your TV.

Press the DOWN DIRECTION button (
) to highlight "SPEAKER SETUP" item.

Press the ENTER button to open a new submenu, press the UP/DOWN DIRECTION buttons (
&
) to highlight
"TEST TONE
" (for example) and press the RIGHT button (
) to open it.

Pressing ENTER will give you a "white noise" tone from each of your 5 speakers in order.

After testing, press the DOWN button (
) to stop the test.

To exit, press the SETUP button.
