Fit the electric cord to the switch. Push
back the red safety stop button to open
the lid. Now the machine can start
When the safety stop button is pressed
down the machine stops.
The switch is fitted with a phase inverter.
This must be turned if the engine runs
the wrong way otherwise the machine
does not work. Check this by seeing that
the engine runs in the same direction as
the arrow on the engine (next to the
power switch. See picture on the left.
Jammed logs
1. Release both handles, so that the log pusher will fully withdraw.
2. Insert a triangular wedge of wood under the log and activate the log pusher in order
to push the wedge under the log which is stuck.
3. Repeat this process by using progressively larger wedges, until the jammed log is
freed.
Warning :
You must never hammer on the jammed log, or place your hands near the log when
you attempt to free it.

Never ask another person for assistance when you are freeing a jammed log.

Do not try to free the log by hitting it with a tool and keeping the foot blocked, this
could cause breakage of the engine cover or the oil pump cover etc.

All the safety rules described in the chapter above apply when carrying out the
operations as described above.
