Browsing the TI-84 Plus CATALOG
What Is the CATALOG?
The CATALOG is an alphabetical list of all functions and instructions on the TI-84 Plus. You also
can access each CATALOG item from a menu or the keyboard, except:
•
The six string functions
•
The six hyperbolic functions
•
The
solve(
instruction without the equation solver editor (Chapter 2)
•
The inferential stat functions without the inferential stat editors (Chapter 13)
Note:
The only CATALOG programming commands you can execute from the home screen are
GetCalc(

.
Selecting an Item from the CATALOG
To select a
CATALOG
item, follow these steps.
1. Press
y N
to display the
CATALOG
.
The

in the first column is the selection cursor.
2. Press

or

to scroll the
CATALOG
until the selection cursor points to the item you want.
•
To jump to the first item beginning with a particular letter, press that letter; alpha-lock is
on.
•
Items that begin with a number are in alphabetical order according to the first letter after
the number. For example,
2-PropZTest(
is among the items that begin with the letter
P
.
•
Functions that appear as symbols, such as

, follow the last item that begins

. To jump to the first symbol,
