Perpendicular Bisector
The
Perpendicular Bisector
tool creates a line that is perpendicular to a segment, a vector, a side of a
polygon, or between two points, and passes through the midpoint of the selected object.
Creating a perpendicular bisector
1.
Select
Perpendicular Bisector
from the
Construct
toolbox.
2.
Point to one of the following and click to select:
A segment or a vector.
The side of a polygon.
Two points (create or select).
Modifying a perpendicular bisector
A perpendicular bisector cannot be translated directly
unless it is constructed between two
basic
points.
Modifying the defining object causes the perpendicular
bisector to change accordingly.
