Using Question in the Teacher Software

When you select a question type, a brief explanation of the question is
displayed at the bottom of the Choose Question Type dialog box.
Note
: You can insert only a question type, not a question category.
When you open a question template, the cursor is in the Question text
area. You can add images as a visual aid to help explain the context of
the question, or as a background on a graph.
You can also apply color to a line or text in the question text box using
the fill color tool
and the text color tool
.
Adding a custom multiple choice question
Adding a custom choice question allows you to specify answers your
students can select. You can then select one or more responses as correct
to help you when grading or to help students check questions that are in
Self-Check mode.
To add a custom multiple choice question:
1. Click
Insert > Question
.
2. Select
Custom
under the
Multiple Choice
question from the Choose
Question Type dialog box.
3. Click
Insert
to insert the selected question type.
The Custom Choice template opens with the cursor in the Question
text area.
•
Two response options exist in the template by default, but neither
response option contains any answer.
•
You can type any combination of text and math expressions in the
Question Area and Suggested Response area.
