Finding the circumference of a circle or the perimeter of a
polygon, rectangle or triangle
1. From the
Measurement
menu, select the
Length tool
.
2. Click the object to measure its circumference or perimeter.
3. Press
·
to anchor the measured value on the work area.
Measuring one side of a triangle, rectangle, or polygon:
1. From the
Measurement
menu, select the
Length tool
.
2. Point to the side that you want to measure.
Initially, the perimeter of the object displays, along with a visual
reminder that you can use
e
to measure the side instead.
3. Press
e
to display the length of the side, and click to attach it to the
pointer.
4. Position the measurement, and click or press
·
to anchor it on the
work area.
In this example, length is measured
from the center of the circle to the
upper left vertex of the polygon.
