Defining Collection Mode as Selected Events
To set collection mode to Selected Events:
1. Select
Experiment > Start Collection
or click
.
2. Select
Experiment > Keep
or click
for each data point you want
to keep.
3. Repeat step two until all data points you want to collect are selected.
4. Select
Experiment > Stop
or click
after all points are selected.
The data point is captured for each selection. Data is visible in the
Graph and Table views.
Defining Collection Mode as Events with Entry
To set collection mode to Events with Entry:
1. Select
Experiment > Start Collection
or click
.
2. Select
Experiment > Keep
or click
for each data point you want
to keep.
The Events with Entry dialog box opens.
3. Enter the independent value in the “Enter Value” field.
Note:
Value is typically numeric, but you can also use text.
4. Click
OK
to continue.
5. Repeat steps two through four until all data points you want to
collect are selected.
6. Select
Experiment > Stop
or click
after all points are selected.
The data point is captured for each selection. Data is visible in the
Graph and Table views.
