Collecting data in other applications
Use the Sensor Console to collect data using a sensor in another
TI-Nspire™ application.
To use Sensor Console with a sensor:
1. Open the application you want to use to capture the data.
Example: Graphs
2. Click
Insert > Sensor Console
or click anywhere in the application
and press
Ctrl + D
.
Handheld: Press
b

Insert > Sensor Console
or

+
D
.
3. Attach the sensor to use if not already attached. Wait a moment for
the Sensor Console area to appear active.
4. Click
Collect Data > Start Collections
or click
.
5. Wait for the data set to end or stop the collection.
Computer: To stop collection:
Collect Data > Stop Collection
or click
.
Handheld: To stop collection: Press
b
and select
Collect Data >
Stop Collection
or click
.
6. Click
Collect Data > Close Console
or click
.
The data collection is available for use in the current application.
