Syntax
.option
option list
Description
The .option directive selects several options for the assembler output listing.
Option list is a list of options separated by vertical lines; each option selects
a listing feature. These are valid options:
B
limits the listing of .byte directives to one line.
L
limits the listing of .long directives to one line.
M
turns off macro expansions in the listing.
R
resets the B, M, T, and W options.
T
limits the listing of .string directives to one line.
W
limits the listing of .word directives to one line.
X
produces a symbol cross-reference listing. (You can also obtain a
cross-reference listing by invoking the assembler with the –x op-
tion.)
Options
are not case sensitive.
