Inputs and Outputs
Use the following connection instructions for BTL or PBTL configuration:
1. For a BTL configuration, connect loads across the outputs (OUTL+ and OUTL–) and (OUTR+ and
OUTR–).
2. For a PBTL configuration, connect a single load from one of the left speaker jacks to one of the right
speaker jacks depending on how the filters are loaded. Apply a single input, differential or single-
ended, to the RIN RCA phono plug and tie LINP and LINN directly to Ground (without capacitors).

Power Up
Complete the following steps to power up the EVM board:
1. Select the desired gain and mode of operation through J13 (OUT = 26 dB, IN = 20 dB) and J14 (OUT
= Low Idle Current, IN = BD).
2. Configure the input mode using J6 and J10 (OUT = differential input mode, IN = single-ended input
mode).
3. Verify the correct voltage and input polarity and set the external power supplies to ON. The EVM
should begin operation.
4. Adjust the audio source for the correct volume.
