Air filter
The foam filter protects the engine against particles. Remove it and wash in mild soapy water. Let
it dry. Put a little engine oil onto the filter. Squeeze out any surplus oil and put the filter back in
place. Replace the filter if necessary.
Check that the filter is fitted correctly before fitting the cover. If the filter is not fitted correctly, the
engine will be damaged.
Starting the scooter
Before start:
1.
Check oil and petrol
2.
Check the tyre pressure and that the tires are intact with no holes or cracks.
3.
Check that the rites have sufficient pattern and that the tires are not worn down to the
indicator marking.
4.
Check that the brakes work by pushing the scooter forwards and backwards while braking.
The brake handle may be pressed 10 mm but not 20 mm in.

Place the scooter on the main stand.

Stand on the left side of the scooter while starting it.
Turn the ignition key to A.
Release the main stand
Activate the right brake to make the electric starter work.
Press the electric starter.
The throttle must NOT be activated when you start.
Release the electric starter as soon as the engine runs. If you do not release the starter
immediately the starting engine may be damaged.
The electric starter may not be pressed for more than 3 seconds. If the engine does not start after
trying 2-3 times, turn the throttle ¼ round and try again. Release the throttle when the engine is
running.
If the battery does not hold enough power use the kick starter for starting the scooter.
If the engine is cold let in run idle for a few minutes before riding the scooter.
The air filter is placed on the left side of the
scooter on the side of the rear wheel.
Remove the screws.
