Miscellaneous

The motor is not pre-filled with oil.

Always before start check the engine oil level.

Factory-fitted control devices, such as the handle-
mounted clutch cable, must not be removed or
exposed.

Only drain the fuel tank outdoors. Gasoline is
extremely flammable and the fumes are explosive.

Ensure that the machine is properly secured when
transported on a flatbed etc.

The lawnmower is manufactured according to the latest
safety requirements. These include a blade brake that
stops the motor and blade in 3 seconds when the blade
brake. Every precaution is only effective when it is
followed exactly. Use the following description when
you mount your lawnmower.

Mounting

Unpacking:

Remove the mower from the box by pulling the machine
out form the side. The box contains:

 Lawn

mower

 Side

discharge

 Handlebar

Front wheel / rod

Warning: Ensure that cables are not pinched.

Mounting the handlebar and cables: Illustration 2-5

1.  Remove all 4 bolts and washers which are

mounted at the back of the lawn mower. (2)

2.  Mount the handlebar at the 4 mounting holes,

make sure the cable is seated in the cable wheel.
(3)

3.  Insert the clutch cable into the clutch handle via the

hole in the clutch handle. (4a)

4.  Insert the cable adjustment piece into the bracket

and tighten the nut in the direction of the arrow so
that it is stuck. (4b)

5.  Set the speed cable by turning it 2-4 turns until a

clear traction force can be felt (5)

Cable adjustment:

Before the machine is being used,

the cable adjustment should always be checked.
The cables can be checked by activating the handles
fully and check if the cable is tight. If not, it must be
tightened. If the handle cannot easily be fully activated,
the cable should be loosened.

After first season, it must be expected that the cables
need to be adjusted for optimal activation, as cables
can stretch when used.

Mounting the front wheel: Illustration 6-7

1.  Place the front wheel rod by pushing it into the

chassis - the tip of the rod fits into the hole on the
chassis (6)

2.  Then screw the 2 bolts together with the bracket

through the upper holes in the shield. (7)

Mounting the side discharge: Illustration 8

1.  Place side discharge screen on the chassis so the

five holes from the side discharge screen are
directly across the holes on the chassis.

2.  Use five nuts and washers to tighten the side

discharge screen to the chassis.

Start of engine: Illustration 9

Never start the lawn mower directly in high in grass
1.  Put the throttle lever to the “CHOKE CLOSE”

position.

2.  Grasp the recoil handle and pull it up quickly.

Slowly return it to the recoil housing after the
engine has started. When the engine is running,
set the throttle lever to "HIGH SPEED" position.

Knife rotation: Illustration 10

Tap the safety button (1 press) and then press the
"clutch lever blade" handle down (2 press) to activate
the knife. To keep the blade rotation running, hold down
the "clutch lever blade" handle.
Release the "clutch lever blade" handle to stop knife
rotation.

Self-drive speed: Illustration 11-12

The mower is equipped with a self-drive speed
adjustment system that can vary the speed between 1.4
to 3.6 km/h (11)
1.  Release the self-drive control handle until the lawn

mower no longer moves forward (12)

2.  Adjust to the desired speed
3.  Press the self-drive control handle down to get the

lawn mower move forward again.

Stopping the engine: Illustration 13

Push the throttle lever to the "STOP" position to stop
the engine.

Height adjustment: Illustration 14-15

The lawn mower has 4 different cutting height settings
from 25 mm to 75 mm. The cutting height must be set
both in front and rear.

Front wheel locking. The front wheel is rotatable, which
gives a good maneuverability, when cutting grass
around trees, bushes etc. Front wheel can also be
locked in a fixed position, so the lawnmower only runs
straight.

Air Filter: Illustration 16

The air filter should be inspected and cleaned regularly.
If the filter has not been cleaned for a long time, the
engine’s power will drop.

1.  Clean around the air filter before removing the cap.
2.  Push the two flaps down and gently pull the cover
3.  Carefully remove the paper filter and inspect it.

Brush it with a soft brush. If it is very dirty, replace
it. Be careful that no dirt gets into the inlet.

4.  Wash the black foam element in the right side in

warm water and soap.
