Trouble shooting
PROBLEM
POSSIBLE CAUSE
SOLUTION
1. No spark.
Check the spark plug. Take off the spark plug,
place the spark plug cap on the spark plug and
put the spark plug on the metal cylinder. Pull
the starter and check if there are sparks on the
top of the spark plug. It there are no sparks
repeat the procedure with a new spark plug.
2. No fuel.
Press the fuel primer. If the problem persists,
contact your local dealer.
3. ”Drowned” engine.
Remove the spark plug and turn the trimmer so
that the spark plug hole faces the ground.
Switch the choke to “RUN” and pull the starter
10-15 times. Clean the spark plug and fit it
again. You might also replace the spark plug.
Pull the starter 3 times with the choke switched
to ”RUN”. If the engine does not start, move the
choke to “Choke” and normal starting procedure
is used. If the engine still does not start, repeat
the procedure with a new spark plug.

4. The starter must be pulled
