A4 Paper Trimmer (TTA410M)
Thank you for purchasing the Texet A4 Trimmer, TTA410M, under normal
use your trimmer will provide years of satisfactory performance. Please
read the instruction manual carefully and retain for future reference.
The trimmer has a straight cut blade which can cut a maximum of 10 A4
sheets of 70gms paper at the same time.
The maximum number of A4 Sheets that the blade can cut is based on the paper
having a thickness of 70gms, (grams per square metre). For 10 sheets at 70gms
the total paper thickness would be 700gms, (10 x 70gms). If you are using paper
that is thicker than 70gms you will need to reduce the maximum number of A4
sheets you can cut at the same time, to the following;
80gms – Maximum of 8 A4 Sheets of paper.
90gms – Maximum of 7 A4 sheets of paper.
100gms – Maximum of 7 A4 sheets of paper.
The trimmer has a solid metal base with non-slip rubber feet, which allows
you to accurately trim paper, photos and other similar types of materials.

Instructions for Use.
The trimmer is designed for the creative cutting of paper, photo, film and
other similar types of materials.
The trimmer has one straight-cut blade, which allows you to cut 10 A4
Sheets at once.
•
Place the paper trimmer onto a non-slip surface.
•
Push the cutting head to the top of the ruler.
•
Place the material to be cut under the cutting ruler and bring it into
the required position.
•
Press the blade head onto the material and use the other hand to
hold the trimmer and paper in place.
•
Now pull the cutting head in a constant movement and with
downward pressure along the cutting ruler.
TIPS when trimming paper.
•
When cutting 10 A4 sheets of 70gms, paper more pressure needs to
be applied than when cutting 1 or 2 sheets, otherwise the cutting
blade will not cut through all 10 sheets correctly.
•
When cutting paper that is thicker than 70gms, (grams per square
metre), you will need to reduce the max number of sheets the
trimmer will cut from 10 to either 8, 7 or less, depending on the
thickness of the paper you are cutting.
•
When cutting the maximum number of 10 A4 70gms sheets at the
same time, ENSURE that all 10 sheets of paper are level, along the
edge. Try tapping the edge of the sheets against a hard surface like
a table or desk once or twice to ensure they are all level.
•
Make sure when you are using the trimmer that you are holding the
paper in place, if possible spread your fingers and press down firmly
to ensure the paper does not move as you are cutting the sheets.
Any movement in the sheets of paper will result in the edges of the
paper not being cut straight.
