When the "Enter Maintenance Mode?" message is shown, push the knob again to confirm.
NOTE:
The EFD-750 display will reboot and enter Maintenance Mode.

Turn the knob to highlight the "Angles..." menu item.
(10) Push the knob to select it.
(11) With the airplane already level in pitch and in roll, adjust the pitch and the roll values to 0.0
degrees, +0.1 or -0.1 degrees in pitch, roll, and yaw.
(12) Push the Menu button to exit.
(13) Select "Save Changes" to return to the Maintenance Mode screen.
(14) Turn the knob to highlight the "MAG Install..." menu item.
(15) Push the knob to select it.
(16) Turn the knob to highlight the "Mounting..." menu item.
(17) Push the knob to select it.
(18) Configure the MAG MOUNTING settings as follows:
(a)
Pitch: 0.0 degrees.
(b)
Roll: 0.0 degrees.
(c)
Yaw: 0.0 degrees.
(19) Push the Menu button to return to the previous MAG INSTALL screen.
(20) Turn the knob to highlight the "Wing Flex Compensation..." menu item.
(21) Push the knob to select it.
(22) Configure the WING FLEX COMPENSATION settings as follows:
(a)
Airspeed settings:
1
No Compensation: 40 kts.
2
Full Compensation: 60 kts.
(b)
Compensation settings:
1
Pitch: 0.0 degrees.
2
Roll: 0.0 degrees.
(23) Push the Menu button to return to the previous MAG INSTALL screen.
(24) Push the Menu button again to exit.
(25) Select "Save Changes" to return to the Maintenance Mode screen.
NOTE:
If you select "Save Changes", give the EFD-750 display at least 15 seconds to save
the changes before you continue to the next step.
(26) Set the STBY DISPLAY switch to the OFF position.
(27) Set the BATTERY switch to the OFF position.
(28) Remove external electrical power from the airplane.
(29) Remove the landing gear electrical test box from the airplane.
(30) Connect electrical connector (PL003) to receptacle (JL003) and electrical connector (PR003) to
receptacle (JR003).

MAG-500 Magnetometer Calibration Procedure
A.
Do the MAG-500 Magnetometer Calibration Procedure.
(1)
On the Electrical Power switch panel, put the BATTERY switch to the ON position.
(2)
Set the STBY DISPLAY switch to the ON position.
(3)
Inhibit the CMC maintenance logging function.
Refer to Chapter 45, CMC Logs Folder
Management And Transmit - Maintenance Practices,

Start and taxi the airplane to a compass rose on the airport. Refer to the Model 525B FAA
Approved Airplane Flight Manual for the engine starting and taxi instructions.
(a)
The compass rose must be free of metal objects under ground.
(b)
The compass rose must be at least 200 feet (61 meters) from the nearest metal structure,
vehicles, and other airplanes.
(c)
The compass rose must have been calibrated in the last five years before the
magnetometer calibration procedure is completed.
