ICE AND RAIN PROTECTION - FIKI INSTALLATION FOR AIRPLANES WITH PROVISIONS

REASON
This owner advisory is to inform you that CAB-30-02 has been issued.
CAB-30-02 provides the parts and instructions to complete the installation of the Flight Into Known
Icing (FIKI) system on airplanes with provisions.
COMPLIANCE
Recommended: Should be accomplished within the next 100 hours of operation or 12-month
(annual-type) inspection, whichever occurs first.
LABOR HOURS
Airplane Serials 208B5000 and 208B5003: 55.0 man-hours to accomplish this service bulletin.
Airplane Serial 208B5002: 52.0 man-hours to accomplish this service bulletin.
Airplane Serials 208B5004, 208B5005, and 208B5008: 28.0 man-hours to accomplish this service bulletin.
Airplane Serials 208B5009, 208B5011, 208B5016, 208B5017, and 208B5019: 25.0 man-hours to
accomplish this service bulletin.
WARRANTY
Airplane Serials 208B5000 and 208B5003: Applicable parts credit and a labor allowance credit of 55.0
man-hours per airplane will be provided to accomplish this service bulletin.
Airplane Serial 208B5002: Applicable parts credit and a labor allowance credit of 52.0 man-hours will
be provided to accomplish this service bulletin.
Airplane Serials 208B5004, 208B5005, and 208B5008: Applicable parts credit and a labor allowance
credit of 28.0 man-hours per airplane will be provided to accomplish this service bulletin.
Airplane Serials 208B5009, 208B5011, 208B5016, 208B5017, and 208B5019: Applicable parts credit and
a labor allowance credit of 25.0 man-hours per airplane will be provided to accomplish this service bulletin.
Freight will be credited at the most economical method unless pre-approved by Cessna. For pre-approval

To receive credit, the work must be completed and a warranty claim submitted by a Cessna Caravan
Authorized Service Facility within 30 calendar days of service bulletin compliance before the credit
