Remove the 245-604067-001 GPS module from slot 9 in MAU 3 and return the module to
Cessna for an upgrade. (Refer to the Cessna Model 680 Maintenance Manual, Chapter 34,
Honeywell Primus Global Position System (GPS) Module - Maintenance Practices.)
NOTE: Operators: The existing 245-604067-001 modules may be modified to 245-604067-100
configuration. Contact Citation Parts Distribution (CPD) Avionics team to
schedule modification at 1.316.517.1651 or telefax 1.316.206-5044 or email
CPDAvioincs@cessna.textron.com. This will require advance notification. The CPD
Avionics team will schedule the units and arrange for their return. Please allow five to
seven days for modification. This service bulletin may not be signed off as completed
unless the units are scheduled through Citation Parts Distribution.

Install the upgraded 245-604067-100 GPS module in slot 9 in MAU 3. (Refer to the Cessna
Model 680 Maintenance Manual, Chapter 34, Honeywell Primus Global Position System (GPS)
Module - Maintenance Practices.)

Install access panel 312BTC. (Refer to the Cessna Model 680 Maintenance Manual, Chapter
6, Access Plates And Panels Identification - Description And Operation.)
3.
Replace the GPS antennas.
A.
Remove the S67-1575-132 GPS 1 and GPS 2 antenna.
(1)
Remove and the screws that attach the antennas to the fuselage.
(2)
Carefully cut the sealant that is between the antenna bases and the airplane skin.
(3)
Disconnect the coax connector from the antennas.
(4)
Remove the antennas from the airplane.
B.
Install S67-1575-135 antennae in GPS 1 and GPS 2 positions.
(1)
Clean all sealant from the mating surface of the airplane skin.
(2)
Connect the coax connectors to the antennas.
(3)
Put the antennas in position on the airplane surface.
(4)
Use the three kept screws to attach each antenna to the airplane.
(5)
Use a bond meter between the antenna screw hole and airplane structure to make sure that the
bond meter shows a Type V electrical bonding. (Refer to the Cessna Model 680 Maintenance
Manual, Chapter 20, Electrical Bonding - Maintenance Practices.)
(6)
Install the remaining screw in each antenna.
(7)
Use Type V, Class A sealant to apply a seal on all screw heads. (Refer to the Cessna Model
680 Maintenance Manual, Chapter 20, Fuel, Weather, Pressure and High-Temperature Sealing
- Maintenance Practices.)
(8)
Use Type I, Class B sealant to apply a fillet seal around the base of the antennas. (Refer
to the Cessna Model 680 Maintenance Manual, Chapter 20, Fuel, Weather, Pressure and
High-Temperature Sealing - Maintenance Practices.)
4.
Prepare the airplane for electrical power.
A.
Make sure that all switches are in the OFF/NORM position.
B.
Connect electrical power to the airplane.
(1)
Connect the airplane batteries.
(2)
Connect external electrical power.
(3)
Turn power on.
5.
Connect a laptop computer to the LAN port on the left aft area of the pedestal.
