Use
This cutting tool is for cutting cables or conductors with nominal voltages up to 1000 V
AC and 1500 V DC. All applicable standards for working on or near live lines must be
complied in respect of necessary precaution and safety measurements. (e.g. EN 50110
part 1)

Explanation of the application range
Our mechanical hand guided cutting tool type K230/K250 is suitable for cutting live
earth, plastic and rubber cables from copper and aluminium.
Attention
Do not cut steel or steel strands.
5. Maintenance
The cutting tool has to be cleaned thoroughly after each use and the bolt joints have to
be oiled regularly.
