Positioning of display unit and transmitter
•
Choose a shady and dry position for the transmitter. ( Direct sunshine falsifies the measurement
and continuous humidity strains the electronic components needlessly)

Place the Frame unit at the final position. Avoid the vicinity of any interfering field like computer
monitors or TV sets and solid metal objects.
•
Check the transmission of 868 MHz signal from the transmitter to the Frame unit (transmission
range 30 m free field). Within ferro-concrete rooms (basements, superstructures), the received
signal is naturally weakened.
•
If necessary chose another position for transmitter and/or Frame unit.
•
Fix the transmitter by using plastic hanger.
D. GETTING STARTED
The IMAGE Radio Controlled Weather Station was designed for easy set up.
a.
Connect the adaptor power plug into the power socket of the frame unit, then plug in the power
adaptor into the wall Jack;
b.
then insert the backup battery (to avoid lost data during a power failure).
•
Remove the battery door cover on the rear side of the frame unit;
•
Insert x3 AAA size 1.5V alkaline battery as indicate by the polarity;
•
Close the battery door.
Note:
Replace the batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the top-right corner of the monitor.

Press the power switch to turn on the frame unit

WELCOME SCREEN
When the unit is powered on, the welcome screen will be displayed for approx. 5 seconds after a
short break.

MAIN MENU
There are four icons on the Main Menu that you can choose from. Those icons are the Information
Board (weather), Clock, Settings, and Photos. Each of these icons will be described in more detail
later. Use the directional arrows on the remote control or the buttons on the unit to move through the
Main Menu and highlight an icon. Once you have chosen an icon, press the [ENTER] button to
confirm your selection and explore further. Once you are done exploring an icon, press the [ESC]
or [INFO] button to return to the main menu.
Attention
: The main menu icons are not real-time active, the icons are just pictures that simulate
the detail screen.
