HERE'S HOW
1. Place the compass on the table in such a
way that its needle can move freely.
2. Now hold the bar magnet close to the
compass and pay special attention to
which end of the needle points toward
the magnet.
3. Now, turn the magnet around.
4. Perform the experiment with the other
magnets as well. Hold the horseshoe
magnet so that first the north pole and
then the south pole is closer to the
needle.
