Align the centre line of the TEK parallel to the laser line and
then move the detector slowly in the direction of the laser line
until one of the arrow symbol lights up.
Now move the detector toward the centre until only the centre
indicator lights up green.
If the horn is switched on, a continuous tone is issued when the
centre is displayed. When the arrows are displayed a tone
pulsating differently indicates in which direction the detector
must be moved to reach the centre. The two LEDs of the arrow
symbols are lit in different colours for clear distinction.
Arrow and centre indicators are placed on the front, rear and
face of the detector to allow reading in any position of the
detector.
If no laser beam hits the detector field (sensor window) for
approximately 6 minutes, the detector switches off. A short
sound is emitted if the horn is switched on.
