When a function is activated, the LED over the button will light up.
EXTRACTION
The motor is activated by pressing the on/off extraction button. The motor always starts at level 1. The motor speed is increased by pressing on the but-
ton for the desired speed. The LED over the button for the selected speed will light up, except from level 4. Read more in the section, BOOST FUNCTION.
The motor can only be switched off from level 1. In order to switch off the motor, press on the “on/off extraction” button when the hood is set to level 1.
BOOST FUNCTION
Level 4 is a boost function. The hood will run at level 4 for approx. 5 minutes, after which it will drop down to level 3 automatically. When the boost
function is activated, the LED over the level 4 button will flash.
LIGHT
The light on the hood is turned on and off by pressing on the on/off light button. The light can be turned on independently of whether the motor is
activated.
AFTER-RUNNING
After-running means that the motor will stop automatically a given number of minutes after this function has been activated. After-running runs at
the selected speed for 5, 10 or 15 minutes.
In order to activate the after-running, the hood’s extractor must be turned on. The after-running is activated by holding down the on/off exhaust but-
ton, until all of the LEDs begin to flash. Then select Start. If you wish the motor to stop after 5 minutes, press the level 1 button. If the hood shall run
for 10 minutes, press the level 2 button, and if the hood shall run for 15 minutes, press the level 3 button. The LED above the button used to select the
time will flash, while the LED for the speed will light constantly.
When the after-running is activated, the speed can be regulated, and the hood will still turn off after the selected time period. Please be aware, howe-
ver, that if the boost function is activated, the after-running will be interrupted.
The after-running can be discontinued at any time by turning off the hood.
RECIRCULATION
The hood can be used for recirculation. This is used in kitchens and in locations where there is no possibility of venting into the open-air. The air is first
drawn through the grease filter and then through a filter with active carbon to remove odours.
