The hood has an indicator to show when the recirculation filters need replacing. The indicator is activated after 120 hours of use. When the hood is turned
off, all of the LEDs will blink continuously for approximately 30 seconds to indicate that the recirculation filters must be cleaned. The filter alarm must be
reset manually. This is achieved by pressing and holding the on/off extraction and level 4 buttons for approx. 3 seconds until the LEDs stops flashing.
After 480 hours of operation, the indicator for replacing the recirculation filter will activate. When the hood is turned off, all of the LEDs will flash with a
subsequent pause for approximately 30 seconds to indicate that the recirculation filters must be replaced. The filter alarm must be reset manually. This
is achieved by pressing and holding the on/off extraction and level 4 buttons for approx. 3 seconds until the LEDs stops flashing.
A time-based filter indicator is intended only as a guide for when a hood’s filters need cleaning, as the frequency depends greatly on the use of the hood.
Thermex recommends that the recirculation filters be cleaned a minimum of two to four times a year and replaced after six washes.

Before a service request during the warranty always try to disconnect the power to the hood for about 5 min. Then plug the power back on to see if the
problem is corrected.

Remove the filters from the frame and clean
the frame thoroughly.

Wash the filter in the washing machine on a
programme with low temperature.
NOTE: The filter may be washed at max. 55°C.
The recirculation filter is now ready to be
installed on the steel filter.

Place the filter mat in the frame again.

When the filter has been washed, dry it in the
oven at max. 100°C for approx. 10 min. until
the filter is completely dry.
When the filter mat has been washed 6
times, it must be replaced. A filter mat can be
purchased on product number 535.05.6300.9.
