The remote control comes in two versions. Version 1 is the standard model and version 2 is for
hoods with decorative light. The two versions are used in the same manner, and these instruc-
tions thus apply to both versions, with the exception of the section on decorative light.
The remote control uses a radio frequency system that makes it possible to control the hood's
function's up to a distance of 8 metres (the distance can be reduced if the signal is disturbed, e.g.
by a wall or a piece of furniture, or if the batteries are almost dead).
The remote control has four settings:

On
•
Standby
•
Sleep mode
If the remote control has been turned off, it can be switched on again by touching the on/off
button. If the remote control has been switched on correctly, the on/off icon will light red, while
the other icons on the remote control will light blue.
The remote control goes into standby if none of the icons are touched after approx. 5 seconds.
This is done to save power in the remote control. The remote control can be reactivated by brief-
ly touching any of the icons.
If the remote control is not activated in 3 minutes, it will go into sleep mode. Similar to standby,
this is to save power. The remote control can be reactivated by briefly touching any of the icons
twice in quick succession.
The remote control is switched off by holding a finger down on the on/off button until the icons
stop lighting. NOTE: If the remote control is turned off completely, all the activated functions,
including after-running and periodic extraction, will be deactivated.
If a function on the remote control is activated, the icon for this function will flash red. When the
icon flashes red, this means that the function can be adjusted using the slider panel. If several
functions are activated at the same time, it will only be possible to adjust one function at a time
using the slider panel. The function that can be adjusted will flash red while the other functions
that are activated will light red, without flashing.
