The status indicators on
the spectrometer cover
do not light when the
spectrometer is turned
on.
The power supply connection
on the back of the spectrometer
is loose.
The spectrometer is not plugged
in.
The power cord is not properly
rated for your electrical service.
The ground prong on the power
cord has been removed or is
defective.
The power cable or power
supply is defective.
Turn off the spectrometer and check
the connections between the
spectrometer and the power supply.
Make sure the lock ring is tightened
finger-tight.
Make sure the power cord is
securely connected to the power
supply and a working outlet or
power strip.
Make sure the power cord is
appropriate for your AC power
