6.1.2 Defrosting Your
Appliance
This product operates using a manual defrost system. While the compressor is
operating, ice will build along the rear cold wall (the evaporator plate is behind
the wall). During the compressor’s off-cycle, ice will melt, drip down, collect in
the trough at the bottom and drain through a small hole into a tray above the
compressor, where the compressor’s heat will evaporate the water. If you notice
excessive ice build-up on the rear wall, please switch off the unit and allow it to
defrost manually. It is advisable to transfer the contents of the unit to a colder
location before starting the defrost process.
6.2 Freezer

6.2.1 Temperature Control
•
Operate the unit for several hours to allow the cabinet to reach normal
operating temperatures before storing product.
•
The temperature control is located on the kick plate of the freezer, in the
upper right corner above the door. Interior temperature is controlled by
the controller. Controller setting is done @ factory for optimum
performance.

Please contact qualified technician before you change set point.
6.2.2 Defrost Instructions
•
During the normal operation the controller shows the cabinet
temperature
•
To activate the defrost manually, press and hold for 4 seconds
•

ON - compressor is running

Flashes – the modification of the “Set Point” in
progress, compressor protection “
C0
” or “
C2
”
•
Yellow LED
ON – defrost in progress
Note
If the unit is unplugged, has lost power, or is turned off, you must wait 3 to
5 minutes before restarting the unit. If you attempt to restart before this time
delay, the freezer will not start.
