the five quick start buttons
P1 to P5 on the touch screen are available.
After having finished a staining process, the
basket carrier is allocated to one of the three
exit stations (38 to 40). The first of the three
exit stations on the left side, which is internally
known as station 38, has top priority. If this
station is occupied, the next one (station 39) is
selected. If this one is also occupied, the slide
basket is placed into station 40.
In case, all exit stations are occupied, this is
indicated via an acoustic warning signal. This
acoustic message can be acknowledged by
activating the "O.K." button on the touch
screen.
Moreover, the error message "EXIT
OCCUPIED" is shown on the screen.
Caution:
Remove one of the three basket
carriers from the exit station. The
specimens which have been finished,
are waiting. The others are still being transported.
For the "waiting" baskets, the exceeding of the
flexible times is shown in red.
Use the "Enter" button on the touch screen, to
acknowledge this message.
Then the stainer finishes the actual staining
protocol and the basket carrier is moved into a
vacant exit station.
Now the basket carrier can be removed by
pulling out the drawer which includes the entry
and exit stations.
Note:
After having removed a processed
specimen basket from the exit station,
please make sure that a cover is
placed onto the exit station again.
This is necessary to guarantee trouble-free
operations.
