34.1.
Obtain aperture centering parameters.
If the aperture
parameters are zero or appear to be corrupted close
DDiag
, turn
the power off to the iN10, remove the main cover (see step 22 for
instructions), and record the parameters listed on the top of the
aperture assembly. Reinstall the main cover and turn the power
back on to the iN10. Wait for the blue power LED’s to stop blinking
and then continue with step 34.2.
34.2.
Open the iN10 Configure screen.
Launch
DDiag
and from the
Protected Content
drop down menu choose
Configure iN10
.
34.3.
Enter aperture calibration parameters.
Choose
Configure iN10
and enter the aperture calibration parameters into the
Aperture
Centering
boxes, click
Set
and then
click
Backup Parameters
. This
will write the parameters to the Flash ROM on the core card. Close
the
iN10 Configuration
screen when complete.
Important
Do not allow the customer access to this screen.

Verify the Z and condenser stage operation.
From the
DDiag
Window
drop down menu choose
Stage Control
.

Motorized Z stage.
From the
Stage Control
screen click
Initialize
Z
to assure the Z stage moves smoothly to its optimal, default focal
point. Refer to the following page.
Note
The Z stage should move down to find its “home” position and
then count up to its default position.
