42.3.
Insert the pinhole slide.
From the
Window
drop down menu
choose
Video
and turn the upper illuminator on. Expand the joystick
icon and use the Z control to lower the Z stage enough to install a
slide in to the stage insert and install the pinhole slide.
42.4.
Focus on the gold mirror.
If using a motorized X-Y stage, use the
X, Y, and Z controls of the joystick; if using a manual X-Y stage use
the X-Y stage knobs and the Z control of the joystick to move the
gold mirror on the pinhole slide into the beam and into focus.
42.5.
Run the system performance test in reflection mode.
42.6.
Run the reflection MCT performance test if applicable; if an
MCT is not installed, continue with step 42.7.
Click the MCT detector icon, and then click
Run Test.
When the
Select Object and Final Format
window appears,
check
the
reflectance measurement box, click OK to close the window and
click OK to start the test. Record the test results for the IQ
documentation if applicable and continue with step 42.7.
When complete, click the
icon to get back to the detector
selection screen.
